The challenge
Lifesong Church in New Tampa had a working website on SnapPages (Subsplash), but it looked dated: lime banners, small text, and on a phone you couldn’t even find the service times.
The church already had a strong look in print — navy and lime, “Love Out Loud” — and the website looked nothing like it. Moving to another platform wasn’t an option: online giving, the live stream, sermons, events and the church app all run on Subsplash.

Home page: before → after. Service times, “I’m New” and the live stream on the first screen
What we did
We kept the platform and redesigned everything on top of it. First a homepage concept in the church’s own colors, approved by the pastors, then every page rebuilt inside SnapPages with custom HTML blocks.
- 25 pages redesigned in the church’s colors: navy, royal blue and lime
- The church’s own texts kept word for word — nothing rewritten without approval
- A new footer with a click-to-call phone number, map and social links
- Fixed old-site bugs: a wrong phone number in the call link, empty social icons, a dead AmazonSmile link, empty cards on the forms page

Lifesong Kids: a plain heading became a full page in the church’s colors
Mobile first
Most visitors look the church up on a phone before their first Sunday. On the new site the service times, the address and one-tap directions are on the very first screen, with a clear “I’m New” button for first-time guests.

On a phone: service times, address and directions in one tap
Every integration still works
Nothing the church relies on was broken or replaced:
- Subsplash Giving embedded right in the new Give page
- Live stream and an automatic “Most Recent” sermon that updates itself
- The events calendar from Subsplash
- 15 native forms — baptism, prayer, volunteer, life groups and more — still deliver to the church’s inbox

Give: the Subsplash giving form still works — now inside the new design
Launch without downtime
All new pages were built as hidden drafts while the old site kept working. On launch day the new pages took over the old addresses, redirects were added and the new theme was switched on — visitors never saw a broken page.
From the first concept on October 13 to launch on October 22, 2026: about ten days.

I’m New: what to expect on a first visit, on one clear page
